Last Sunday, September 12th, VABA tipped off its VDBL season with its first of three tryouts. This First Chance "Open" tryout was well attended by over a hundred eager, focused young basketball players! For those who were assigned to a team roster, congratulations to the start of a wonderful basketball experience this winter! Last night we held ANOTHER tryout - which was also very well-attended. TOMORROW, we will be having our final round of tryouts (Wednesday @ Monticello HS, 7:00 - 9:00 pm). Trying out for a team is never easy, and we sincerely appreciate the effort put forth by those young athletes giving it their all!
